Michael Kraal is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice.

Michael practises in all aspects of intellectual property law, overseeing the trademark and patent portfolios of clients in varied industries, from food, petrochemical, retail, information technology, cosmetic, to pharmaceutical industries. He has also acted for the Singapore Government, other local and international trade bodies and has sat on various professional committees concerning intellectual property matters.

He is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and has been serving on the Executive Committee of the APAA (Singapore) since 2001, including a tenure as editor of the association’s Digest. He is a registered Patent Agent in Singapore, and a member of the Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys.

Michael graduated with a LL.B (Hons.) from the National University of Singapore in 1993 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1994.
