Chiam E-Laine is a Partner in the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice.
With over two decades of practice experience under her belt, E-laine handles all areas of IP law
and manages trade mark, patent, industrial design and domain name protection in Singapore and
the region for clients from a wide range of industries.
She is a registered Patent Agent, a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and
the Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys (ASPA). E-laine has served on the Examination Committee
for the Singapore Patent Agents Qualifying Examination and on the Executive Committee of the Asian
Patent Attorneys Association (APAA). She has contributed articles to the Singapore Academy of Law
Journal and other legal publications. She has also presented talks on Singapore IP law to multinational
corporations and members of INTA.
E-laine is an appointed Commissioner for Oaths.
E-Laine graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LL.B (Hons.) in 1990. She was
admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1991.
